I saw "Eclipse" last night and I'm going to see it again tonight. I also have plans with another girlfriend to see it again next week.
I swoon for things that either don't exist in reality or are too expensive for my budget. What is a girl to do??
What did you make for your Fourth of July celebrations? Hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad? Well, I made Judy's Baked Beans. I have no idea who Judy is or where she came up with this recipe, but it's top notch and simple! Try it - you will not be disappointed!
Judy's Baked Beans
Ingredients:
3 lbs Pork and Beans
3/4 cup brown sugar
8 oz canned pineapple, drained
2 medium onions, chopped
2 tbsp steak sauce
1 tbsp mustard
1 package kielbasa, chopped (I used turkey kielbasa)
1/2 package bacon (I used center cut)
3/4 cup ketchup
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix beans, onions, mustard, steak sauce, brown sugar, pineapple and kielbasa together. Pour into a 9 x 13 dish. Top with bacon and glaze with ketchup.
Bake uncovered for 2 hours until the top is deeply caramelized.
I halfed the recipe and it worked well. I also didn't have any brown sugar, so I drizzled a little molasses and sugar in the mixture before baking. Also, I would suggest glazing with the ketchup and then layering the bacon. That way the bacon gets crispy! Enjoy!

Small changes can add up - try bringing a real mug for your morning coffee instead of the plastic or styrofoam cups at work. Change the lightbulbs in your house to the squiggly energy efficient ones. Support your local farms and farmers markets! Jersey has the best produce in the country! Small changes in your everyday activities can really add up and be very motivating to others! 7-Eleven and its franchisees, the company is launching a charity-focused coffee campaign this month. Throughout 2010, 7-Eleven® will introduce limited-edition 20-oz coffee cups designed by entertainment and sports celebrities to be sold in 7-Eleven stores nationwide. Proceeds from cups sold will benefit the featured celebrity’s charity of choice. Cups can be filled with any 7-Eleven hot beverage including coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
“Cup With A Cause is one of our most exciting programs,” says Rita Bargerhuff, 7-Eleven’s chief marketing officer. “We’ve turned our coffee cups into canvasses, and celebrities are creating artwork for our program that allows customers to directly support charities and causes that make dramatic changes to so many people’s lives.”
Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and Benji Madden will kick off the program. This morning I woke up extra early to do some yoga. I've done some yoga before, but it's still fairly new to me. I would like to make it a permanent routine during the week for me. I definitely feel better when I practice in the morning and it has to be in the morning, I know I won't do it at night! Night-time is reserved for eating good food and drinking good wine..... Do you have a morning workout routine??
